About Rachel Marcotte

I am a fiber artist and art educator currently based in Western New York. I specialize in hand embroidery. I am also constantly researching and experimenting with other fiber arts and techniques including quilting and applique.

UnkleMarcotte began when I was first married. I wanted to preserve and recognize my artistic growth as an Unkle, but also represent my new artistic self as a Marcotte. So I merged my names to represent all of who I was, am, and will be.
